What is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS)?
A Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) is one who has been
trained in the unique needs of the age challenged. This training
provides specialized knowledge of potential home modifications
for solutions to the problems faced by those who, due to age,
have reached the pinnacle of being called 'wise.'
A Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) has been trained
in:
- the unique needs of our 'wise' population
- home modifications available to assist
- various remodeling projects
- solutions to common everyday problems
This certification is issued by the National Association of
Home Builders (NAHB). The NAHB teaches the technical, business
management, and customer service skills essential to
understanding and producing home modifications for the
aging-in-place.
H2 Renovation's Diane Hunter is proud to have earned the CAPS
designation.
